Bodies of the victims of a Bulgarian bus accident arrived at Skopje airport in Petrovec on Friday, where they were seen being carried by soldiers from a cargo plane to hearses.

Delegates and officials from North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania and Kosovo took part in the state reception and farewell ceremony.

The North Macedonia-registered bus crashed and caught fire near Bosnek, south-west of Sofia, on November 23, killing 45 people including 12 children.

The majority of the victims were Macedonian Albanians.
