Ukrainian officials have gas in their heads?

Ukraine does not want to pay for gas. President-elect Petro Poroshenko confirmed that Ukraine refuses to pay the price of $500 per thousand cubic meters - they want old, lower prices, which Kiev also refused to pay. Now Poroshenko claims that Ukraine does not need the Russian gas. Moscow has to decide what to do next, because cutting gas supplies completely is impossible. Vladimir Revenkov, an expert with the Department of Energy at Institute of Energy and Finance "Russia can cut gas supplies to Ukraine, but not to Europe. There were contracts signed with European partners, and the Russian Federation is responsible for that. Europe puts all transit risks on us. They blame Russia for all their problems, not looking at the situation realistically. The head of Gazprom said - we will now sell you as much as you pay for. But what are they going to pay, if they have billions of debt?"
