Ukraine: smell of genocide

Moscow could cut off gas supplies to Kiev in just few days. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the prepayment, which was made by the Ukrainian side, left for the supply of gas for a few days. And if further payments will not be done, "Gazprom" will suspend deliveries. Such a scenario would create a threat to Europe, and the President of Russia hopes that Ukraine will pay for gas. Vladimir Putin also touched upon the topic of "blue fuel" through Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. He believes that "Gazprom" does not violate the agreements. Kiev's accusation is, first of all, its failure to comply with the Minsk Agreement. Ukrainian authorities stopped the gas supply to the unrecognized republics, saying that gas transmission system has been damaged in Donbass. Vladimir Putin commented on the decision of Kiev rather harshly, comparing the actions of the Ukrainian authorities to genocide. "I know that there are 4.5 million people live there. Just imagine, these people will be left without gas in winter. This is smell of genocide. Some leaders of Ukraine don't have a clue what are the humanitarian issues, humanism, generally concept of humanism already is forgotten "- said the Russian president. However, even prepayment at time by Kiev will not guarantee that the Ukrainian authorities will voluntarily supply gas to Donbass. But perhaps the pressure of Europe, which also needs "blue fuel", yet make Ukraine to agree to the supply of gas from Russia through the eastern pipelines. After all, so far, in addition to free natural gas, Ukraine still wants to be supplied through the measuring stations which are not connected with Donbass.
