Tsunami drill: Interior ministry, Kenya Red Cross lead drill in Watamu

There was drama around the Blue Bay beach hotel in Watamu, Kilifi county, as the interior ministry conducted a tsunami drill on Tuesday. Locals and tourists were caught unaware by the drill conducted by the ministry, Kenya police, Kenya Meteorological department and the Kenya Red cross. The drill was to establish whether the residents residing along the area were aware of how to safeguard themselves in case of a tsunami as well as equipping them with skill incase of such a disaster.
