Tanfield Railway Legends of Industry 2018

A look around this years Legends of Industry Gala on June 16&17. As well as Tanfield Railway resident engines Twizell, Keighley Gasworks No.2 and Sir Cecil A. Cochrane we see National Coal Board, Lambton railway ‘Austerity’ No. 60 and Central Electricity Generating Board, Dunston Power Station No.15. On static display is NCB Austerity No.49, restored and about to re-enter traffic. If you've never seen how railway engines travel around without tracks we see No.60 arriving by low loader. Sunderland Classic Vehicle Society display some fine examples and Marley the pit pony gave regular demonstrations.
