Flattening a Waterstone / oilstone to a precision flatness can be quick easy & affordable using the coarse 300 grit or the extra coarse 180 grit Trend routing Inc 8" x 3" diamond stone. Use the Trend lapping fluid to keep the diamond stone free from residue build up. Sorry about the background noise but this was filmed at the Atlanta Woodworking show in March 2014.
