DPP thanks party staff with year-end banquet

The DPP threw a thank-you banquet for its staff on Friday. The atmosphere was cheerful and not a few officials tried out the karaoke machine, as they celebrated winning the general elections. Fresh off her reelection, President Tsai Ing-wen thanked party staff for their work over the past year. She said that bouncing back from adversity was the spirit of the DPP. President Tsai led a toast alongside Vice President Chen Chien-jen and the newly elected Lai Ching-te.
