Military Dependents' Village

A Taoyuan County Military Dependents' Village Cultural Festival took place in Chungli today. A few popular entertainers took the stage and performed hip-hop dancing, as many braved the inclement weather to attend the event.Special furnishings and decorations from military dependent's villages in the 60's and 70''s are only display at this exhibition. It gives many the feeling that they are walking down memory lane. Organizers have faithfully reproduced the look and feel of this community, along with some typical meals which visitors were invited to sample. The event continues for another two days, giving participants the chance to experience a part of Taiwan's unique history.
