DPP joins forces with Taiwan Statebuilding Party for Taichung legislative election

Changes are taking shape in Taichung''s political landscape ahead of the 2020 legislative elections. The DPP recently threw its support behind New Power Party lawmaker Hung Tzu-yung who is running in District Three. Today DPP officials announced another alliance with a third party, saying they will not field their own candidate in Taichung''s District Two. Instead they will support the campaign of a candidate from the Taiwan Statebuilding Party, formerly known as Taiwan Radical Wings.Members of the DPP and Taiwan Statebuilding Party repeat slogans in a show of unity. They''re teaming up to get Taiwan Statebuilding Party spokesman Chen Po-wei a seat in the Legislative Yuan.
