Borderlands 2: Patched Invader- Does it still suck?

The Invader is the legendary Hyperion Sniper. It has the Dahl burst fire effect, combined with Hyperion's consecutive shot accuracy bonus. It is definitely a strange weapon. It is most commonly available from Saturn, who appears in both the Arid Nexus Badlands and Digistruct Peak. As a high fire rate sniper, it's always going to have some level of effectiveness. This weapon's main drawback is a severe lack of base damage combined with the low sniper ammo capacity in this game. It is an effective weapon for applying Bee damage, but so are many other high fire rate snipers. This sniper is very viable, but most other good build rare+ and legendary snipers are simply better. It is not an effective weapon in comparison to other high fire rate snipers with higher base damage.
