The death toll following floods and landslides in Kerala climbed to at least 35, according to media reports, Monday.
“We are looking for two more bodies. Actually, we have recovered a total of 6 casualties yesterday,” rescuer Aqeel Nazim said. He added that the teams were still looking for the body of a 3-year-old boy.
The Army, NDRF, police, and the Fire department, along with locals began rescue operations on Sunday morning at Koottickal in Kottayam district and Kokkayar in the Idukki district.
