The incredible moment that a rare giraffe was born has been caught on camera at Chester Zoo.

There are less than 1,700 Rothschild’s giraffes left in the wild, making it one of the most endangered mammals.

The male calf should eventually reach around 18 feet in height and weigh more than 2,200 pounds.
