A critically endangered baby rhino has been born at Chester Zoo.

Heart-warming footage captured the rare rhino calf taking her first steps and bonding with her mother.

There are fewer than 1,000 eastern black rhinos left on the planet, after
poaching for the illegal wildlife trade decimated their numbers.

The zoo is part of an international conservation breeding programme trying to prevent their extinction.
