Wild Turkey Decades Master's Keep

Eddie Russell’s second installment of the Wild Turkey Master’s Keep is a fantastic blend of 10 and 20yr old bourbons. The exact Wild Turkey flavor profile can be rather elusive for some folks. It’s not too fruity, or too oaky, or too anything really. It actually just tastes like BOURBON! Sounds strange, but the balance of caramel to vanilla to oak to alcohol conspires to make something wholly anachronistic in our 24/7 world of 31 flavors, a whiskey which is and always shall be. So I guess if you actually like BOURBON, you will love this. All the hallmarks are there…vanilla/cocoa/caramel nose tinged with leather and oak accents. On the palate the 104 proof sparks into spice, yellow fruit, cinnamon syrup, with a long concentrated finish. This whiskey is focused, not trying to be anything other than what it is…tradition.
