Unsung Heroes : Mary Waruguru saved lives during the Solai dam tragedy in Subukia

When disaster struck Nyakinyua village ,in Solai  Nakuru county last Wednesday claiming the lives of 47 people and leaving behind a trail of destruction, one woman refused to submit to the ravages of the raging dam waters and worked tirelessly to save the lives of those affected by the sudden flood. Mary Waruguru, who works as a community worker at a private clinic chose to stay and save lives even after her all the doctors and staff at the clinic ran for their safety.
