Two massive Pyrenean stallions

Near Lac de Bouillouses, France, I filmed these two draft horses. They roam almost freely through the mountains. Each with their respective herd. These gentle giants spend their summers here. In winter they're taken elsewhere, while their foals get rounded up and are sold off, most likely ending up in a slaughterhouse. Please note that horse meat is part of the French cuisine. As you may notice the stallions and other herd members are used to humans. Many tourists pass by everyday and often give the horses treats and cuddles.
