Tunngle Alternative - SoftEther Installation Guide (New Beginnings)

I have good news for you guys. Tunngle may have been dead but it's not stopping us from playing Blur with one another via many other VPNs out there. While Evolve is good, it has it's own share of problems. The best way to play, by far, is through a software called SoftEther. Our friend Tobii from the Blur Community on Tunngle rented an Amazon Server which can be used to play Blur through SoftEther. This is where we would all play BLUR now. Please follow the instructions below, TOBII'S GUIDE: 1. DOWLOAD SoftEther from this page: http://www.softether-download.com/en.aspx?product=softether 1.1 You will need the client version. (I did all this on Windows 7; and tested on Win 10 too. If you are using a different platform / OS the installation will probably be similar) 1.2 After downloading it, run the file (the installation is pretty simple : just click NEXT and use common sense) Make sure u install the Client (NOT server manager) 1.3 After installation it might ask about installing a Virtual Adapter (if it doesn't that's fine we will do it later dont worry) Click yes, and if it asks a name use "VPN" (no quotes) 1.4 If it doesn't ask, just click on "Virtual Adapter" and then name it "VPN" 2 HOW TO CONNECT TO THE BLUR SERVER: 2.1 Double click on "Add VPN connection" and make sure you use these options here: host name : blur.softether.net Port number : 5555 Virtual Hub name : VPN: Auth type: Anonymous Authentification User name: user Leave the rest of the settings as they are in the video, and click OK. 2.2 Now as it connects a little msg should pop up saying "user connected" or something like that (if it doesn't , no worries, it should still work) 3 : THATS IT MATE youve done it, you can now open blur and play with everyone else whose connected to the server. 4: To disconnect, just right click on "Blur Server" and click disconnect. 4.1 If you wish to connect again next time, it might be useful to create a shortcut. Now if you wish to connect again just double click "Blur Server" before hosting / joining a LAN game in Blur.
