GTA 5 - Liberty City Rewind Installation Guide (v1.41)

Installation Guide for Liberty City Rewind Mod on v1.41 First part is about installation. Testing and demonstration starts at 07:00 __________________________________________________________ As promised, this is a first and easy guide to get the Liberty City Rewind Mod by Encrypted Reality working on GTA 5 v1.41, at least partially for the moment. Following the steps, shown in this video, will give you the opportunity to get at least Manhattan and East New York into GTA 5 v1.41. I haven't found a solution yet to get the whole city implemented into the old version properly. OK, let's start: 1) Download the Liberty City Rewind Mod by Encrypted Reality: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TpOcPCf2X4iESbmYRSxCWCQumgDUHJha/view 2) open the OpenIV tool (which can be downloaded here: https://de.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv) and go to GTA V/mods/Update/x64/dlcpacks/ 3) Copy over the "manhatny" and the "eastny" folder from the downloaded Liberty Rewind Mod to your GTA V/mods/Update/x64/dlcpacks/ folder 4) now click on "Edit Mode" and navigate to /Update/update.rpf/common/data 5) Right-Click on dlclist.xml and select "edit" 6) add 2 new lines and with eastny and manhatny 7) Click Save 8) navigate in OpenIV to GTA V/common.rpf\data\levels\gta5 and replace gta5.meta with the downloaded one 9) navigate in OpenIV to GTA V/x64a.rpf\data and replace levels.ymt with the downloaded one 10) navigate in OpenIV to GTA V/x64g.rpf\levels\gta5\generic\gtxd.rpf and replace the files with the downloaded ones 11) navigate in OpenIV to GTA V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data and replace gameconfig.xml with the downloaded one in the 1604.0 folder 12) To add traffic to Liberty City, go to GTA V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5 and copy in paths.rpf and the NODES folder from your Liberty Rewind files. if you don't find specific folders in the mod folder, just create it or make a copy of the original file Example: you can backup the update.rpf folder in the mods folder by right-cklicking on the update.rpf file in the GTA V\update folder And we're finished. Now let's see, how it looks in v1.41 If you want to have the Stark Tower from the Avengers movies, you can download it at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xyb1aMZF2RoSEIJDGTVEnfMX06mrbRsz/view. Then just navigate in OpenIV to GTA V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\manhatny\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\ny\manhat\manhat07.rpf\ and copy in all files from the downloaded folder _________________________________________________________________ Gameconfig.xml for v1.41 can be downloaded here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars Just click on "older versions" and select the "Gta Config v10.0 For v 1.0.1180.2" folder. There you find a lot of different versions for different traffic types. just choose your favorite one and copy it over as shown in the video. ________________________________________________________________ PS: If you get an error message, try the following: Copy over the paths.rpf and the NODES folder directly in your GTA V\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5. Just make sure to backup your original files before you replace them. Do the same with the gameconfig.xml. Copy it directly into GTA V\update\update.rpf\common\data after backing up the original file.
