The Baldy Bowl - Mountaineer's Route / Devil's Backbone Trail

Climbing the Baldy Bowl was a incredible experience. The conditions couldn't have been better: relatively warm, crystal clear views, and sticky snow. Going down the Devil's Backbone was definitely a little dicey at points but it was really fun to finally do this hike in the snow. Just use extreme caution if you attempt this hike, a couple people die up on Baldy every winter.
