Mount Baldy trip report Jan 18th, 2020, via Ski Hut trail and western Baldy Bowl. Mt Baldy snow hike and climb. This is a trip report from my climb to the Mt Baldy / mt San Antonio summit via the Ski Hut trail and western slopes of the Baldy Bowl on January 18th, 2020. I used my 70L Osprey Pack since my daypacks are to small to fit my mountaineering and winter gear. My shoes are LaSportiva, crampons are Black Diamond, Petzl Ice Axe, pants from Norrøna, Base layers Helly Hansen, Marmot Fleece, LaSportiva shell and puffy, North Face gloves and a pad from Thermarest.
