Cabinet will next week discuss a framework that could see compulsory Listing on the Stock market by Telecom companies whose current turnover is worth 3.62 Trillion shillings, according to statistics of the Uganda Communications Commission.
Finance Minister Matia Kasaija, says that the Cabinet Memo will be up for discussion in the 1st week of June.
Similar actions have taken place in Ghana and Nigeria where MTN is scheduled to list on the stock exchanges of those countries.
