Chinese investors constructing Uganda's 5th Cement factory

The construction of Uganda's 5th Cement factory is underway in Osukuru in Tororo District and according to finance Minister Matia Kasaija, the unit cost of road construction is expected to drop, given that the type of cement produced in the factory will be used on roads. He made the comment while inspecting the GuangZhou Don Song Industrial Complex. The minister says the country's ambitious infrastructure projects, remained expensive due to costly inputs.
