These beautifully simple, vegetarian carrot fritters can be prepared, cooked and on the table within half an hour. The recipe uses a Turkish chilli flake, Pul Biber, which adds a fruity yet moderate heat to the dish.

Ingredients:
400g can chickpeas, drained over a bowl
250g Duchy carrots, grated to give 200g
4 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp Cooks’ Ingredients Peppery Pul Biber plus a pinch to garnish
2 tsp vegetable oil
300g pouch wheatberries, lentils & green vegetables
A few tbsp cool & minty tzatziki, to serve
Fine green beans, to serve
