An intense, brooding track. The song is pretty straight forward. Lots of singles thrown about. I recall this is where my arm was really starting to hurt and I was thinking "just get through it, just get through it". So you can be sure that those prolonged single runs around the toms felt like someone slowly digging a knife into my forearm. Very Slipknot'y in a way, though :P. I also think I cut my finger in previous takes and I'm wiping it on my snare, so ya, LIEK S0 BR00TAL HOMGZ1!1111!one!!112

Audio was recorded in our rehearsal space direct into a Behringer X32 digital mixer and into ProTools and monitored
through a headphone pre-amp with Beyerdynamic DT100 headphones. No editing. Mixed in ProTools. The following
mics were used:
- Apex325 on kick
- Apex326 on all tom batters & snare top
- Shure Beta 57A on snare bottom
- Apex180 pencil condensers for overheads
