INGREDIENTS :
5 or more Skinless boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup nutritional yeast 1sp
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1sp ( or sub panko, cornflake crumbs)
1tsp or more Onion powder for both the chicken and crumbs
1tsp or more garlic powder for both the chicken and crumbs
1 tsp or more smoked paprika ( or plain is fine)
1tsp or more Italian Seasoning for both the chicken and the crumbs
1tsp or more pepper for both the chicken and crumbs
1cup or less of any brand egg whites
1/4 cup or more Low fat Parmasean cheese 2sp.
And marinera sauce (any kind or check out my YouTube video for my zero point sauce)
DIRECTIONS :
Pound out chicken to flatten. You can put saran over before pounding it gently!!
To Fry First: Spray a large skillet very well with choice of cooking spray and on a medium to high heat
Or you can just bake at 350 for 45 to one hour in a baking dish
Add all spices to both sides of the chicken and use a brush to spread. Place on a plate or container. Refrigerate if you have time!!
TIP.... First pre marinate your chicken a few hours or the day before if you can!! Otherwise it's fine to do it an hour or half hour before!! The longer it marinates the more flavour it will have!!
Add egg whites to a medium bowl
Set aside
Add bread crumbs and nutritional yeast to another bowl
Add the garlic, onion powders, Italian seasoning and pepper
Then add to a large plate
Take chicken and dip in egg whites then shake off excess liquid
Dip chicken on both sides in bread crumb mixture
Repeat until all chicken is breaded
After you pan fry
Add marinera and cheese to chicken.or if you bake it add the merinera and cheese five minutes before its done to get hot and melt.
Add all chicken to the heated skillet and bake for approximately 4 to 5 minutes on each side
Place on a cookie sheet
Add to preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes!
Or Bake in your preheated oven for 40 to one hour. Cut into chicken to make sure it's well cooked! Add marinera and cheese just five minutes before its done to heat up over it and melt the cheese.
