A man has been charged with assault after wiping his nose on a store employee’s shirt in Michigan.

The shop assistant had noticed the man walking through the store without a mask, despite signs posted on the entry doors stating that all customer had to wear one to enter the premises.

After being asked to wear a mask, the man walked over to the employee and wiped his nose on her clothes, reportedly saying: “Here, I will use this as a mask.”

Police said the man “continued to be loud and disruptive inside the store” before leaving.
