Shocking Footage Showing Canadian Snowbird Jet Crashing into Residential Area

A Royal Canadian Air Forces (RCAF) crew member died and another was injured after a jet crashed into a residential area shortly after take-off.

Video footage appears to show a person ejecting a Snowbirds aircraft shortly before it hits the ground in Kamloops, British Columbia.

The RCAF were doing a flyover across the country to show support for Canadians helping to fight the spread of Coronavirus.

The deceased victim was identified as Captain Jennifer Casey by the RCAF on Twitter and the surviving member, Captain Richard MacDougall, sustained injuries “not considered life-threatening”.

According to local authorities the jet crashed into a home shortly after take-off.
