Shankill Bomb 23rd October 1993. This video shows the 25th Anniversary Church Service held within the West Kirk Presbyterian Church, Shankill Road. It is in Honour of the 9 Innocent Protestants Murdered By A Sectarian Sinn Fein Death Squad on the 23rd October 1993 . John Frizzell 63 year old. Sharon McBride 29 year old. These people were not the Security Forces, these people were not the enemy, these people were simply Protestants out working, shopping & enjoying a Saturday like everyone else. They were Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, but most of all, they were part of Our Community, & so it is only fitting that they be Remembered by Our Community 25 years on.
