This is a first series 1946 vintage King Super 20 alto sax, serial number 285039. This alto has all the features of the earliest vintage Super 20 horns. It has pearl inlay on many of the touch points, including side and palm keys, table G#, and octave key. It has the triple neck strap rings, and sunburst engraving on low C, C#, B, and Bb keys. It also has its original sterling silver neck, with double socket receiver and under-slung octave key.
