Russia: Dozens detained at anti-immigration rallies on People's Unity Day Police detained at least 60 people in St. Petersburg on Monday during several rallies against immigrants marking People's Unity Day. At least 10 of the protesters detained were teenage boys. The participants of the rally were demanding tighter visa control for immigrants from Asia and the Caucasus, and for an increase in the detection of alleged crimes committed by foreigners.
