A training cadre of the Russian Armed Forces' Chemical Corps held drills for junior recruits specialising in chemical and biological protection on Monday.
Taking place at the training centre in Bolshoye Bunkovo, 70km (43 miles) east of Moscow, trainees practised exercises in radiation, chemical and biological reconnaissance, aerosol counteraction and the usage of incendiary weapons to dispose of dangerous substances.
It takes four months of preparation and a final exam in order to become a specialist in chemical and biological protection in the Russian Chemical Corps.
