August 24, 2015 - NAZ Today talks with members of Lowell observatory about the reopening of the Clark telescope to the public. Soon stargazers of all ages will soon be able to once again enjoy the famous telescope.
Peter Rosenthal, Archival Restoration Specialist, says the reason they had to fix up the Clark telescope was because it was making a loud clunking sound.
Josh Bangle, Lowell Observatory Communication Manager, says that anything that old has to be repaired every once in a while.
Rosenthal says the telescope has a lot of historical and sentimental value as well.
