Raga Bihaag Bandish - Tejal Kothari

Bihaag is a popular late evening raga in Hindustani classical music, but not so common in the semi-classical genres. In classical music, it is regarded as a raga of Shringara Rasa (romantic sentiment), which is regarded as Rasaraaj – the paramount rasa it incorporates gamut of emotions. In Raga Sangeet, the textbook for New Era School, Joglekar Sir very wisely compiled the bandishes of Bhakti Rasa.
