Quake II was developed by ID Software and published by Activision. The author of the custom level I'm playing is J. F. Gustafsson. I own nothing in this video.
One of the most atmospheric (and moody) Q2SP creations out there, 1964 also happens to be one of the most difficult. It's an eight-level unit that nonetheless goes by relatively quickly given the small size of its maps. Its environments are varied, it's fun to go through, and it's also a good example of stellar architecture. I would've liked it just a tad brighter (and I would've also included more secrets) but apart from that, 1964 is worth checking out.
