Has a nice feel to it, not quite as textured as most other textured plastic puzzles, but also doesn't feel super smoother either. The corner cutting isn't up to par with most newer 2x2's these days, but that could be a tension thing however because I get my average with it and it hardly locks up I don't feel a need to loosen it. One thing I didn't mention in the videos because I saw it while I was editing, and then remembered fixing it a few times during solving, is that the 3 pieces of the corners sometimes separate and creates a gap. Nothing major, but something to point out. Overall I'm happy with the puzzle, and if I had to I would use this in a competition. Recommended for beginner to intermediate solvers.
