Dr Eric Sidebottom and Professor David Cranston give a talk about the Legacy of Norman Heatley (1911 – 2004), who was a member of the team of Oxford University scientists who developed penicillin.
Dr Sidebottom is a Retired Lecturer in Experimental Pathology in The Sir William Dunn School of Pathology and Professor Cranston is Associate Professor of Surgery at the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences.
The Surgical Grand Rounds lecture series, hosted by the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences at Oxford University, is the key educational meeting for consultants, juniors and medical students. Presentations revolve around clinical cases.
