NHS research: Ian’s story

After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, Ian took part in a trial at his local NHS hospital into a new drug. In this video, Ian talks about his diagnosis, how he got involved in the trial, why he chose to take part, his experience of the trial and the impact of the trial on his health. The STAMPEDE trial was supported by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
