Next Generation Architectures for Earth Observation Data: The Data Cube Approach

There are many barriers to accessing an applying satellite data, such as the cost and complexity of transmission, handling and storage, and the need to calibrate and process large volumes of imagery from multiple satellites. This video discusses a next generation architecture for satellite Earth observation data - The Data Cube Approach - that will eliminate some of these barriers and unlock the benefits of satellite information for all types of users with easy, low-cost access, to calibrated and corrected data.
