As South Africa still reels from several brutal rape and murder cases against women and children in recent weeks, and in light of Child Protection week, should the country be considering harsher punishments for convicted rapists and paedophiles... Chemical castration was recently added into Indonesia's laws as their president believes that this is the only way to reduce their high statistics. But what rights do convicted sexual offenders have, and would South Africa's constitution allow such a law to be implemented.
