Nene Valley Railway class 31 'Ped' fest 60th anniversary Gala 14/10/17

The 60th Anniversary of the Brush Type 2 class 31s, nicknamed 'Peds' due to them being underpowered for their weight. Good for events like this though, as plenty of thrash was given throughout the day off all 8 class 31s! Filmed on the whole section on the NVR between Peterborough Nene Valley and Yarwell Junction a total of 7.5 miles. Stops in between are Orton Mere, Ferry Meadows and Wansford(the main terminus). I stayed on the main MK1 set most of the day, until the last service on the foreign stock, because you cannot stick your head or camera out of most of the windows on that stock.
