Mother gives birth and has umbilical cord cut with STONES

Chodipalli Muttayamma, 24, was being carried four miles to hospital by her relatives after going into labour in a remote Indian village when she gave birth to a daughter by the side of the path. Video taken by her family shows how she was forced to use two stones and her fingernails to cut through her daughter's umbilical chord, before the girl was washed and wrapped in blankets to be carried home again. The family have now released the video and are asking the government to build roads to their village so that ambulances can access it.
