Police warn journalist: "I'm going to lock you up for interference!"
Dateline Tuesday June 24, 2014 - Middleton Connecticut: At what can only be described as a riot on Main Street, police apprehended one man and then made the arrest. Many police officers, both plain clothed and in uniform are on hand. Numerous police vehicles and even a large German Shepard is called out to quiet bystanders clearly upset by the arrest. I arrived late on the scene so do not know what happened, and first hand accounts caught on video seem unreliable. As the person apprehended did the "perp walk," I followed. There were many other passerby's closer to the police officer than me. The officer warned me to stand back and I readily complied even though others were much closer. Afterwards the mob circles me and I can not get away, in a moving chaotic scene which engulfed me. The cop warned me again: "If I have to tell you again I'm going to lock you up for interference!" One bystander warned me to not to film.
