Message From Dr. Richard Bartlett CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY - CREATE A NEW ANCHOR 1/28/2020 Newsletter: https://conta.cc/38LY4mq I have a friend who is a gifted shaman. In Shamanism we can encode for altered states of consciousness by listening to rhythmic drumming. These altered states can open up doors into other realities. My friend took a pill bottle out of her purse and shook it rhythmically when she was working on me and that created an anchor or reference for me to encode a different state. Anchors are really important in dealing with anything. Sometimes in relationships we get anchored to the wrong stuff. While it can be difficult to break a limiting pattern, if we go back to what was great in the relationship, we can then map it in our physiology. Create an anchor or reference for that great time, and then allow ourself to get back to that feeling. Our physiology unfolds the emotions around something that’s either negatively expected or participated in positively. We can, believe it or not, in the moment still choose to do things differently by creating a new anchor that will allow for letting go of tense, constricted expectations and that will open us up to a new positive possibility!
