Message From Dr. Richard Bartlett YOUR HEART’S DESIRES https://conta.cc/2Rct6wD This week I wanted to talk to you about desire. We all desire things, such as a better job, lover, education, or living circumstances. All these desires are basically fear-driven. For everything that we want or don’t want, we end up fearing that we either can’t get it or even that we will get it. Ultimately we’re afraid of dying; that is the ultimate fear. Beyond death we fear that we could be reincarnated into some horrible situation or that we end up in hell, etc. It’s all fear-based. The universe is just like breathing, moving in and out effortlessly. The same is true of our lives, in that there is a course to our lives that we’re not necessarily controlling, but we can learn to flow with it effortlessly, like breathing. When we try to swim against a current, it can be quite difficult. When we lay on our backs and float, we find that we can do that so easily. Everything that has happened to me in my life has come about without my ability to control it, such as Matrix Energetics, the Superman experience, all of it. These kinds of things happen to all of us, but do we pay attention when they happen? Do we notice how the universe is showing up? How things are leading us in a certain way? That doesn’t mean that the universe always leads us in the way we think things should go. If we can maintain a desire to let go, then fear can have less of a hold on us. The less that fear is clinging to us, the more free we can become to accept, notice, and move into the next phase in all aspects of our lives.
