Memokath™ 051 (Ureteric) - PNN Medical

The Memokath™ 051 stent is a thermo-expandable nickel-titanium alloy spiral stent which bends to adopt the natural curves of the ureter. The resultant lack of outward pressure against the ureteric wall preserves peristalsis and minimises the risk of secondary ischaemic damage to the ureter. The Memokath is available as a prostatic (028) and urethral (044/045) stent for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and urethral strictures respectively.
