MCAT CARS Strategy and Techniques Part 2 – Passage Practice and Tips

In this video, I go through an MCAT CARS passage step by step and show you guys how to find the main idea of the passage. The key things to remember are: read actively, summarize each sentence as you go, find the main idea of each paragraph, find the main idea of the entire passage, and note any names you may see. Also, try your best not to dwell on words or sentences that you don’t understand. If you continue to read and understand other parts of the passage, you will most likely be able to uncover the main idea. It’s just a summary of the technique that worked for me when studying for the CARS section of the MCAT, and it might not work for everyone. Hopefully some of you found it helpful!
