Alexander Sergeyev, 2004 Vaganova graduate, has been promoted from second soloist to first soloist. His repertoire includes: Espada from Don Quixote, Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet, title role in balle Shurale (he did premiere performance), Harmodius in Spartacus, Etudes, Nutcracker Prince from Chemiakin's Nutcracker, Prince in Ratmansky's Cinderella and Ivan the fool in Ratmansky's Little Humpbacked Horse, Petrushka, Albrecht from Giselle, Spanish dance and Prince Ziegfried in Swan Lake(he was partner Of Olesia Novikova in her debut some days ago), Balanchine's Apollo and Jewels (Emeralds and Rubies), Yuri Smekalov's Presentiment of Spring (Death) and Bolero Factory (Greed).
