Long serving soldier, Maj. Gen. John Mateeka looks back on army life

He was Uganda’s first military attache in the US since the NRM captured power in 1986. He joined the army in 1966 and rested his boots on Wednesday this week. Now, retired Major General John Mateeka shares his experience in the army and what his future plans are. Sudhir Byuruhanga interviewed the retired serviceman at his home in Bugolobi, Kampala.
