Live: UNSC convenes on Middle East and Palestine in New York City

The UNSC meeting takes place on the same day as Palestinians commemorate the 70th year of the Nakba (Catastrophe) with more protests planned in the Gaza Strip against Israel. The protests in the Gaza strip have been intensifying for weeks, with more than 50 Palestinians killed on Monday, May 14, on the same day as US embassy was relocated from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
