Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu will deliver a press statement at the Governor’s Office on Wednesday, regarding Tuesday’s attacks in Istanbul. The attack took place nearby Istanbul’s main tourist hub between Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque on Sultanahmet Square. Nine out of the 10 victims are German according to Turkish officials. Turkish authorities identified a 28-year-old suicide bomber of Syrian origin to be the assailant while Turkish Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu blamed the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIL/ISIS) for the attack.
